Steve brings over 40 years’ experience in technology and leadership roles. Having founded four companies throughout his career, his entrepreneurial perspective, business acumen and digital expertise are a great asset in continuing Westfield Health’s legacy as a market innovator.

Trevor gained valuable experience in the banking sector before moving into health insurance, where he acted as CEO and Risk Director for UK Healthcare. As a member of our board he also sits on the Risk Committee.

Nicola joins the board as a fellow of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of England and Wales. She has extensive financial advisory experience with a background in corporate finance, private equity and investment management. Nicola has spent many years advising on business strategy and challenging executive teams to build and deliver appropriate plans and will continue this approach with Westfield Health.

Recognised by the Health Service Journal in their Top 50 BAME Powerlist and named Business Leader of the Year in the Yorkshire Post’s Excellence in Business Awards, Richard joins our board with over two decades experience of driving innovation and improving patient outcomes in the health sector. Richard’s expertise in tackling health inequalities will help us make a healthy difference to the quality of life of our customers and the communities in which they live and work.

Rob has joined our board after working internationally to drive health behaviour change, promote wellbeing and enhance performance through his work as Professor of Physical Activity and Health and a Chartered Sport and Exercise Psychologist with the British Psychological Society. Rob’s experience will help to further inform our mission to enable people, communities and workplaces to live healthier and happier lives.

Mahmud joined the Board as a Non-Executive Director in April 2025. He has been Chair of Chesterfield Royal Hospital and Royal Primary Care NHS Foundation Trust since February 2024, and until June 2025 he combined that part-time role with being a senior leader at Lloyds Banking Group.

Mahmud is passionate about tackling health inequalities and ensuring everyone has the right access, experience and outcomes that they deserve, and for twenty years has been an active organ donation campaigner. He is an Organ Donation Ambassador for NHS Blood and Transplant, a member of the Donor Family Network and regular attender at the Westfield Health British Transplant Games.
